JAMES SEWELL BALLET
Founded in 1990 by a Minneapolis native,
the James Sewell Ballet relocated to the
Twin Cities in 1993. The company has since
presented Sewell’s modern works, with dancers
performing annually in Saint Paul, Rochester,
St. Cloud and across the United States.
MINNESOTA DANCE THEATRE
Founded in 1962, the world-renowned
Minnesota Dance Theatre celebrates a deep
and personal connection to its past. The New
York Times has called the theater’s annual
production of The Nutcracker one of the
nation’s 10 best.
RAGAMALA MUSIC AND DANCE THEATER
Founded in 1992, Ragamala Music and Dance
Theater is dedicated to preserving the South
Indian classical dance form of Bharatanatyam.
